			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Health insurance protects the insured against incurring extensive medical expenses by offering full or partial coverage for certain medical treatments and procedures. Life insurance, on the other hand, is an insurance policy that pays out the face value of the policy, in a lump-sum payment, to the person designated as the beneficiary, upon the death of the insured. </p>
<p>There are two basic types of life insurance: whole life and term life. Term life insurance is by far the less expensive of the two because it offers just life insurance. A term life insurance policy can be purchased for as little as one year and for as long as 30 years. In order for the beneficiary to cash in on the policy, the insured must die sometime during the term. This is probably why so many people wait until they are older before purchasing life insurance. <span id="more-467"></span></p>
<p>Whole life insurance is a combination of a life insurance policy and an investment plan. The premium associated with the whole life policy is shared between the two with a portion going towards the life insurance premium and the balance being invested into whichever investment vehicle has been chosen: mutual fund, money market, stock and bonds, etc. The benefit of a whole life policy is that it forces the insured to save money for retirement by using a portion of the premium as investment money. In reality however, these policies are typically loaded with fees and commissions, and after taking these costs into consideration, it often is not the best use of an individual&#8217;s investment dollars. </p>
<p>A life insurance policy is totally different from a health insurance policy and the price for each ultimately depends upon a person&#8217;s age and physical well-being. In general, individuals who are young and healthy pay less than those who are older, and especially those who are older and in poor health. </p>
<p>It&#8217;s not possible to advise a person which is better, a health insurance policy or a life insurance policy. Many people obtain health insurance through their employer, and many employers also offer as a benefit the ability to purchase a low face value life insurance policy for a nominal cost. If this is your situation, it&#8217;s advisable to take advantage of both these benefits. </p>
<p>Otherwise, deciding which insurance policies to purchase becomes more a matter of how much you can afford each month and your personal situation. It&#8217;s advisable to choose health insurance coverage, even though it probably will be more expensive because it only takes one uninsured medical illness or accident to leave you with insurmountable medical bills. Also consider this. If you don&#8217;t have health insurance, and your medical bills (and/or other bills) are considerable, it might be a good idea to purchase term life insurance with a face value high enough to pay off your bills and designate your spouse as your beneficiary. That way, your spouse won&#8217;t have to worry about inheriting your sizable debt!</p>

<p>Diabetes Recipes</p>
<p>There are really too many diabetes recipes to list, however there are a few that stand out from among the rest, one in particular being the black and white bean salad recipe. This recipe is incredibly easy, and all you need is 2 cups finely chopped onions, 2 tbsp. olive oil, 1/3 cup red wine vinegar, ¼ cup chopped red pepper, 2 tbsp. minced parsley, 2 cloves minced garlic, 2 tbsp. Equal Spoonful, ¼ tsp. salt, ¼ tsp. freshly ground pepper, 1 can great northern beans rinsed and drained, 1 can black beans rinsed and drained, and red pepper rings. <span id="more-462"></span> </p>
<p>All you do to make this recipe is sauté the onions in oil in a medium skillet until they are crisp-tender, then remove them from the heat and let them cool until they are warm. Then you stir the vinegar, red pepper, parsley, garlic, Equal Spoonful, salt, pepper and onions together, and pour the onion mixture over combined beans in a bowl, mix well, and then garnish with the red pepper rings. </p>
<p>Another of the more popular diabetes recipes is the rice salad recipe, for which you will need 4 cups hot cooked rice, 1 can kidney beans rinsed and drained, 1 small onion chopped, ¼ cup vegetable oil, 2 tbsp. white vinegar, 1 tbsp. granulated sugar, 1 tbsp. pickle relish, 1 ½ tbsp. chili powder, and 1 medium green pepper chopped.</p>
<p>All you need to do to make this delicious rice salad is combine the rice, beans and onion, then in a separate bowl combine the oil, vinegar, sugar, relish and chili powder. Then you toss this with the rice mixture, and cover and let chill for several hours. Then, just before you are going to serve it, you stir in the green pepper. </p>
<p>There are numerous other recipes that you can choose from as well, and one great idea is to make yourself a recipe book filled with your favorite diabetes recipes, so that whenever you go to make a meal you just have to put out this book and you will have a mountain of options at your fingertips to choose from. </p>

An average head consists of 100,000 to 150,000 hair, which grows ½ an inch every month. Hair is growing due to rapid cell division at the base of the follicle and gets pigmented when it is pushed upwards out of the follicle.</p>
<p>Normal hair loss or alopecia, is a part of the natural hair life cycle. Normal hair loss is caused by genetic factors, androgens and age. Other factors include general bad health, side effects of medications, and skin diseases. <span id="more-459"></span></p>
<p>Hair loss may result from heredity. Millions of men, women and children are confronted with hair loss due to heredity. It is important to know that every day an individual sheds 100 to 300 hairs daily as a natural process. Each and every hair undergoes the hair growth cycle before normal hair loss occurs. The normal growth cycle consists of three stages:,<br />
· Anagen stage<br />
· Catagen stage<br />
· Telogen stage</p>
<p>Anagen stage<br />
hair will stay in this phase for two to four years. Each hair will grow 15 cm per year.</p>
<p>Catagen phase<br />
In this transition phase, the hair spends two to four weeks. </p>
<p>Telogen phase<br />
The telogen phase is also called the resting phase. This phase lasts about three months allowing the hair to detach itself prior to falling out.</p>
<p>In case of normal hair loss, there is no need to panic. But if there is an excessive hair loss, it should immediately be discussed with your physician. Treatments that are available depend on the type of hair loss. Sometimes correcting hormone imbalance may prevent further hair loss. Rogaine (Minoxidil) will help to correct common baldness<br />
An individual will lose 100 hair per day and hair rubbing, too much brushing or excessive washing may result in an increase of hair loss. Losing 100 hair per day is conisdered absolutely normal! Normal hair loss may increase as age advances. Male pattern baldness is a normal hair loss, which is genetically predetermined.<br />
In case if you are an individual of above 30 years and you begin to lose scalp hair, then the chances are 95% that it is normal hair loss.</p>

Although not everyone is taking part, it is quite important to have your doctor see how your health is doing. Personal health care examination can decrease a person’s chances of getting sick or acquiring a disease because of early diagnosis. <p>1. Assessment of any risk that can contribute to future medical problems. Sometimes people can be so hardheaded and would not go to the doctor because they would argue about not feeling anything. Bad news is, the moment an illness strike, it may be because it’s getting serious. Earlier diagnosis equates earlier treatment. <span id="more-455"></span></p>

<p>Personal health care should be done religiously in order to live a healthy life.</p>

Yet you are not sure if they do work and if they are safe. So for one that is guaranteed to work, use the stability ball.</p>
<p>What Is a Stability Ball?</p>
<p>This is a large and inflatable ball used as an exercise equipment. Despite being air-filled, it is generally heavy-duty and capable to hold 600 to 700 pounds of weight. It is comfortable and gives good support. It perfectly suits the trainee as it easily goes with the structure of the body. <span id="more-445"></span></p>
<p>This exercise tool is also sometimes called as the physioball or the Swiss Ball.</p>
<p>The good thing about using the stability ball is it reduces the perception of ‘working’ in training, especially for beginners. It gives some element of ‘play’ as you get rough with the training. It adds some fun and excitement as you advance in the movements and techniques.</p>
<p>Another good point with the ball is that it can be used by anybody. No fitness level is required. It is very portable and light weight, easy to bring along even when traveling. It is also inexpensive compared to other exercise equipment and it could last for a very long time. </p>
<p>How Stability Balls Came About?</p>
<p>The use of the stability balls for training can be traced in rehabilitation. As early as the 1900’s, physical therapists have been using balls in addressing the neurological disorders of their patients. </p>
<p>Then, in the early 1960’s, Aquilino Cosani, an Italian toy maker, made the ball and sold it, known then as the ‘Gymnastik.’ Two decades after, Cosani came up with a company called Gymnic and became the major supplier of the stability ball to most rehabilitation programs and centers.</p>
<p>The ball then shifted from the rehabilitation to the athletic area, in the 90’s. It was used to condition the body of professional athletes. From then on, the ball became very prominent in the fitness community.</p>
<p>At present medical specialists and fitness professionals very much recommend the use of the stability ball by the public. It serves more than solving physical problems. It is good in preventing you from having one.</p>
<p>What Are the Benefits of Using a Stability Ball?</p>
<p>The stability ball definitely is best to improve the strength of the abs and the lower-backs. It improves as well the functional strength, balance and flexibility of the body. </p>
<p>1. Proper Alignment<br />
Using the ball during training will test the body to make use of the different parts to maintain the proper balance. The dynamic movements during exercise will improve the natural motor reflexes of the body as different muscles are utilized in movement, especially the ones that are not usually used. The challenge posed by the ball is to maintain balance. As one aims to get the proper balance, the alignment of the body parts is also improved. </p>

You are more than willing to be energetic but your body is not just up to it. To address the problem, you resort to eating a lot, gulp up cups of coffee and smoke, thinking that you will be lively after. For a while, you feel good and going. Unknowingly though, you are accumulating toxins in your body. With this scenario happening more and more, you might need to detoxify. </p>
<p>With our ever-dynamic world today, we want our bodies to be constantly active so we can move along with the fast paced lifestyles. Hence, we resort to body stimulants such as coffee, cigarettes, diet pills, drugs and a lot more thinking that they will help the body to stay up all the time, but they do otherwise. These stimulants cause immediate loss of energy and emotional symptoms such as headaches, sickness and depression. They are also considered as toxins in the body.<span id="more-442"></span></p>
<p>What are toxins? Toxins are agents that are able to cause body harm. There are two kinds of toxins, the Exogenous or external toxins and Endogenous or internal toxins. The Exogenous toxins come from external sources such as car fumes, tobacco smoke, drugs, factory pollution, etc. On the other hand, the Enogenous toxins come from viral or bacterial infection. Due to metabolism, the body creates its own toxin called Autogenous toxins.</p>
<p>These harmful substances are eliminated in the body in a process called detoxification. Detoxification is the removal of stored toxic products from the bowel, the blood, liver, and kidneys including the great amount of toxic substances stored in body fat to cure chronic diseases such as cancer. The easiest way to detoxify the body is the body detox through a natural diet. To detoxify the body naturally is a change in the diet from a poor to a healthy one. A healthy diet includes raw food diet, specifically, fruits and vegetables. </p>
<p>Naturally, the body detoxifies itself all day. The peak of detoxification occurs when the body is rested during sleep until noon. This is a way for the body to eliminate the toxins acquired from pollution, stimulants and nutrients.</p>
<p>For the ever busy people, you can substitute your stimulants with natural diet to acquire a healthy and active body. Most common stimulants taken by people are refined white sugar, coffee, diet pills, cigarettes and red meat.</p>
<p>Sugar has a stimulating effect. Hence, we feel invigorated when we drink colas. What we do not know, refined white sugar has detrimental effects on the body. Examples of products containing refined white sugar are cola and ketchup. It is advised to cut down on it by using brown sugars like cane sugar which is natural. Fruit juices also give the same kick as to refined white sugar.</p>
<p>Late night workers resort to drinking coffee to keep them awake. As natural substitute to coffee with a detoxifying effect is Japanese or Chinese green tea. The Japanese or Chinese green tea gives the same kick because it also contains caffeine but it does not contain substances that are irritating to the stomach.</p>
<p>Diet pills are also stimulants for the body to be kept alive. This may be observed among athletes specially, during time for competitions because they give more energy. They are being taken albeit the toxic effect in the body. In lieu of this, athletes must take fruits instead due to their natural detoxifying effects.</p>
<p>For cigarette smokers who think smoking stimulates their mind to think, they must think twice for smoking causes cancer. If they take carrots, they will experience the same effect in a more natural way.</p>
<p>For red meat lovers who really feel good and strong after feasting on said food, they better think about cutting on it. Fish is a better substitute.</p>
