			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Doctors, hospitals and health care providers comprise groups called PPOs, or preferred provider organizations. These PPO groups, also called &#8220;networks&#8221;, then agree to provide services at a discounted rate for insurance companies. PPO immigrant health insurance contain several positive and negative features for providers and patients.</p>
<p>PPO insurance for immigrants will reduce the degree of coverage when claims are made from hospitals or doctors that are not part of their network. Essentially, instead of 100% coverage for the treatment they may only cover 80% of the medical bills. However in the event of an emergency they will not penalize you for using the closest medical facility and then transfering to one in the network.<span id="more-67"></span></p>
<p>Other PPO providers will allow customers to seek medical attention from hospitals and doctors that are not part of the network. The catch is that these customers will be required to pay higher co payments or incur higher out of pocket expenses. With non PPO plans the providers have no discounted billing rates, so in case of a claim the cost is higher for both the insurance company and the insured.</p>
<p>The reason that insurance for immigrants companies like preferred provider organizations is that they receive discounts from the hospitals and doctors. This savings allows them to insure more people and provide more coverage. Very often incentives are offered for the insured to use the PPO.</p>
<p>PPO insurance plans are able to offer more coverage to insured customers for their money. Savings from reduced network discounts is passed on to customers through lower premium rates. However, lower costs are not the only advantage to using PPO non U.S. citizen insurance.</p>
<p>Another great reason for getting non US citizen insurance through a PPO network is the convenience. When one goes to a hospital or doctor&#8217;s office within the network, the bill is sent straight to the insurance company. The insured person does not even need to think about it.</p>
<p>Many hospitals and doctors will bill the patient, and it becomes the patient&#8217;s responsibility to file the claim with the insurance company. With PPO insurance for immigrants and non U.S. citizens, this is far less likely to happen.</p>
<p>There are pros and cons to using an insurance company in a preferred provider organization. Whether or not one likes the idea is entirely up to the insured and the buyer. Select a non U.S. citizen health insurance plan based on your preferences.</p>

Fortunately, there are ways of making them eat even if they don&#8217;t want to. It is a good idea to have a selection of favorites to fall back on, including hotdogs, pizza, homemade chicken noodle soup, crockpot chicken noodle soup, and lasagna.</p>
<p>It might be more of a chore but the easiest thing to do is to prepare a few different dishes so your child can decide for himself what he want to eat. You could even try asking what they are in the mood for. If the child thinks that he can make the decision about food himself sometimes, he will be happy to eat what you have made especially for him. You can do what you like with his suggestions, of course. He might suggest homemade chicken noodle soup, in which case you can make a crockpot chicken noodle soup if you are going to be out all day and won&#8217;t have much time before his mealtime. <span id="more-78"></span></p>
<p>It is a good idea to encourage your child to sample everything you prepare. Many children don&#8217;t like the look of a food (&#8220;it&#8217;s a yucky color&#8221; or &#8220;it&#8217;s looks slimy&#8221; are common excuses) but your child won&#8217;t know what the food tastes like until he tries it, so encourage him to take a no thank you bite. In this way, he will get to taste the food and he might actually like it and ask for more.</p>
<p>Another way to encourage small children to try different foods is to name the food with the name of their favorite fictional or cartoon character. Harry Potter Pancakes or Garfield Lasagna will get a smile from your child and they will probably tuck in, just because of the name. Children identify with shows they enjoy and if they think they are eating their favorite cartoon foods, they will probably eat all their meal.</p>
<p>It is a good idea to make colorful dishes. You could use red, green, and yellow peppers and call the dish Christmas casserole for example. Corn, broccoli, carrots, and tomatoes all add color.</p>
<p>Children know when they like and if you present something, which looks boring, they won&#8217;t be keen to try it. They don&#8217;t understand or care about nutrition either so it is up to you to make sure your child gets enough.</p>
<p>If you enjoy cooking, you can let your child help you with meal preparation. If they feel like part of the cooking process, they will be happier to eat the results. Children would prefer homemade chicken noodle soup to &#8220;the stuff in the white and red can.&#8221;</p>
<p>If there is a food, your child doesn&#8217;t like, but it is necessary for the recipe, you can mince it in the food processor when your child is in another room, before adding it to the pot. Your child won&#8217;t be able to see or taste it in the final dish but they will be getting the nutrition from the hidden ingredient.</p>
<p>When you are feeding a child, sometimes these alternative methods help. The main thing is to be flexible while still providing adequate nutrition. Simple meals like chicken noodle soup, lasagna or grilled meat with a sauce and vegetables provide excellent nutritional value. Nobody wants dinner to be a battleground and if you follow these tips, it doesn&#8217;t have to be.</p>

<p>Who is a candidate for an abdominoplasty procedure?<span id="more-56"></span></p>
<p>Although women are the majority of abdominoplasty candidates, anybody who has an abdominal protrusion which will not be affected by diet or exercise is likely to think about this procedure. Loose skin in the abdominal area causes some to look into the possibility of undergoing this surgery as well. Often as a result of the tightness of the abdominal skin from pregnancy, women will seek out this surgery to correct the problem after exercise and diet fail to correct the situation.</p>
<p>The Risks of Abdominoplasty</p>
<p>when performed by a qualified surgeon, trained for the job, Abdominoplasty is quite successful. However, as with all surgical procedures, this one too, has its own risks and complications which must be clearly understood before going in for surgery.</p>
<p>Possible complications include the formation of blood clots and infections. These are very rare and are treatable, but these complications will mean a longer stay in the hospital for the patient after the procedure. Some patients heal more effectively than others &#8211; scars can develop. If these scars are very large, a second surgery may be necessary to correct them. Smoking should be avoided as it can increase the risks of complications and worsen their severity should they occur.</p>
<p>Hoe To Plan and Prepare for an Abdominoplasty Procedure</p>
<p>The surgeon must first determine how large any fat deposits in the abdomen of the patient are. Skin tone will also be looked at, with the surgeon recommending either a partial or complete abdominoplasty procedure depending on these two factors. If the deposits occur just below the navel, a partial abdominoplasty is likely what will be called for. The surgeon may instead recommend, especially if the deposits are not limited to the area below the navel.</p>
<p>You will be given some guidelines in regard to diet and other habits (i.e. &#8211; smoking and drinking) to be followed prior to undergoing the procedure. If you develop an illness or an infection, your surgery will probably be postponed until a later date. The complete abdominoplasty procedure takes between two and five hours, depending on the patient and a partial abdominoplasty one to two hours.</p>
<p>In a complete abdominoplasty a long incision will be made from one hipbone to the other, just above the pubic area. Another incision will also be made to free the navel area from the abdominal tissue. Partial abdominoplasty needs a much shorter incision, and the second incision may not be required at all.</p>

And by washing your hair properly will have a great impact on the bounce and shine of you hair. But the chances are very high that you are probably washing you hair all wrong, and consequently not getting the great looking hair that you could have.</p>
<p><b>Step 1.</b> &#8211; Start. Begin by brushing your hair well before you climb into the shower, this will help to loosen dirt, reduce hair breakage and reduce the amount of hair being caught in your plug hole. When you have finished giving your hair a good brush it&#8217;s time to give your hair a good soaking using warm (not hot) water. For washing your hair properly, it is important that you get all of your hair completely wet, as washing dry hair is difficult.<span id="more-96"></span></p>
<p><b>Step 2.</b> &#8211; Adding shampoo. Something that people often do is to use far too much shampoo when washing their hair. Usually they will just squeeze a good handful into their palm and then begin scrubbing away. This is definitely not the right way to wash your hair. First make sure that you are using very high quality hair care products (using the right product for your hair type) and just add a smallish amount to the palm of your hand.</p>
<p><b>Step 3.</b> &#8211; The correct way to wash your hair. There are two common mistakes that people often make when they wash their hair: 1). Over-vigorous scrubbing/massaging 2). Rinsing too quickly. After applying the shampoo to your hair, the correct way to wash your hair is to massage your hair and scalp very gently. Scrubbing your hair and scalp does not make your hair any cleaner. After massaging your hair gently for a short while, you can leave shampoo in for up to 5 minutes to get a really good clean.</p>
<p><b>Step 4.</b> &#8211; Rinse and Repeat. Now that your hair has had a good shampooing, it&#8217;s time to get all of that dirt, grime and shampoo lather out of your hair. When you come to rinse your hair, it&#8217;s important to give your hair a really good rinsing. While it may look like all of the shampoo has been rinsed out, there can still be plenty of product left in your hair. Once you have rinsed, there is absolutely no harm in washing your hair a second time. When your hair squeaks, you know it&#8217;s clean.</p>
<p>You can make a big difference to the look and the feel of your hair when you begin washing it properly. It&#8217;s easy to do, just go through the 4 steps outlined above and you will have clean and healthy looking in no time, every time. In fact those who regularly suffer from panic attacks will find that they have a very large impact on the way that they live their lives.  But for these people there are now plenty of panic attack solutions that they can use and which you may want to consider using if you have such an attack in the future.</p>
<p>The first thing a person needs to do in order to provide an effective solution to a panic attack is for them to be able to recognize when one is about to start.  If they are able to recognize these signs then they will be able to work more effectively at getting the situation under control.<span id="more-94"></span></p>
<p>In order for a person to be able to deal more effectively with panic attacks they need to learn that there may be different reasons why an attack has occurred.  So ideally they should actually spend time looking at their life in order to see what things or situations could have caused a particular attack to be triggered.  If they can identify these then they are in a much better position of learning how to cope with or even prevent further episodes taking place in the future.</p>
<p>But it may not just be a particular situation that you find yourself in that has led to your panic attack taking place. Your vertebral column get loads of compression from everyday activities, gravity and general life. Plus the added compression you give it with strength training and you better start decompressing it.</p>
<p>Back health is extremely important, and I&#8217;m willing to bet most of  you have back pain currently. I myself hurt my lower back about a year ago, and this is one of the methods I used to get it back to 99% (still sometimes gets tight or painful). I&#8217;ll do a complete post on why you have back pain and how to fix it later, but read this now.<span id="more-43"></span></p>
<p>What you want to do is follow a simple decompression method that helps to keep your spine healthy and mobile by helping it decompress to its original length.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s everything you need to know</p>
<p>How To Do Spine Decompressions</p>
<p>You&#8217;ll need a pull-up bar to do your decompressions. After you have that piece of equipment, there&#8217;s two ways to go about this:</p>
<p>1. Obtain Gravity Boots: This is the process that I utilize. These are boots that you bind onto your ankles and have hooks on them so you can hang upside down from your pullup bar securely and allow your backbone to decompress. I make use of Teeter Hang Ups Gravity Boots. An extra bonus is that with these boots I can perform upturned sit ups for my abs and other cool &#8220;upside down&#8221; exercises.</p>
<p>2. Hang With Your Hands: This is trouble-free. Just hang from your pull-up bar and ease all muscles-hold it for as long as possible. The longer you hang the better shoot for 5 minutes at best and build up from there. You probably can&#8217;t hang that long, so here&#8217;s</p>
<p>How To Hang On Longer With Your Hands</p>
<p>The longer you hang the better, yet your grip will almost certainly give out. Even though I would never advise using lifting straps for your typical lifting, I recommend them for decompressions for it will allow you to hold longer. Go for nylon-type lifting straps or lifting hook straps as they&#8217;re more durable.</p>
<p>How To Ease Your Muscles So Your Backbone Decompresses</p>
<p>Your muscles need to be relaxed in order for your spine to decompress (staying tight won&#8217;t help). Here&#8217;s what to do whether you&#8217;re using the gravity boots method or the hanging from your hands method:</p>
<p>* Come down the pull-up bar</p>
<p>* Take a deep breath and keep hold of it</p>
<p>* Tighten up your whole body (focus on abs, glutes and make fists)</p>
<p>* Hold your whole body tense for 5 seconds</p>
<p>* Give it all off, your breath and the whole stiffness. Take it easy</p>
<p>When you do this you&#8217;ll sense your whole body relaxing and you&#8217;ll most likely &#8220;drop&#8221; down a bit. You&#8217;ll probably feel your back decompressing, particularly the first few times.</p>
<p>How Frequent You Must Decompress</p>
<p>Daily is best. I must admit, I don&#8217;t do it every day consistently. But you really should try to do it as much as possible. If you get bored hanging upside down you can read a book or something. It&#8217;s best to do these right after your strength training sessions, right after your cooldown-think of it as a part of your cooldown.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There are hundreds of new products, pills and routines out there that will claim to be the fastest way to build muscle to burn fat. Some of these products do work. Some of them will make you feel guilty for buying them in the first place. The rest are just a pile of junk and you know it.</p>
<p>Of course there are some that DO work, but they are short cuts that don&#8217;t give permanent results. Most of the products come up with a single routine to follow forever. Your body adapts to any routine within 4 weeks. Don&#8217;t you wonder why you suddenly get stuck when trying to burn fat and build muscle? <span id="more-23"></span></p>
<p>Did you know that muscle burns a lot of fat just to survive in your body? Therefore, the easiest way to burn fat and build muscle is by actually focus on building muscle, and the fat will just go away helping your muscle to grow in the process!</p>
<p>1. Pick total body compound movements like Deadlifts, Squats, Weighted Pushups, Chinups and Pullups for hard core muscle building and fat burning. No isolated movements would give you the same results at such a speed.</p>
<p>2. If you want real muscle growth, you need to work hard in every workout. Go to your max. Compete against yourself in your previous workout. If you did 8 reps Bench Press with 150 lbs last week, go for 9 or 10 reps with the same weight in your next workout. Or increase your weight and train to failure. Keep progressing in every workout.</p>
<p>3. Eat to build lean muscle not fatty jiggle. Focus on feeding your body with low GI carbs, fruits and green fibrous vegetables to build the lean, ripped body you need. Stay away from junk food.</p>
<p>4. Get rest. This might come as a shocked to you but rest is necessary to build muscle. You don&#8217;t build muscle during the workout. It happens during the time you give you rest for your muscles to complete repairs. Take a week off every 8 to 10 weeks for optimum results.</p>
<p>5. Focus on free weights and body weight exercises. Never use a machine unless it is for something like a kneeling cable crunch which is a great exercise for the abs.</p>
<p>If you follow these 5 simple steps, you will be away ahead of the rest of the crowd who work their butts off in the gym trying to get in better shape. You will turn heads in a few weeks if you follow the steps recommended to burn fat and build muscle accordingly.</p>

<p>You have the choice of either growing your own thyme, buying it fresh or buying it dried from the store. When you are using dried thyme for cooking, half a teaspoon of dried thyme is equal to one sprig of fresh thyme.<span id="more-28"></span></p>
<p>If you add dried thyme to your food, remember to crush the leaves thoroughly before adding it into the mix, to make sure that the flavor will distribute evenly. To preserve the taste of your dried thyme, remember to store it in a cool dark place in an airtight container. Even with good storage, it will only last for about 6 months, so check it for mustiness before you use it.</p>
<p>It is easy to grow your own thyme and you can use a window box for this. If you want to dry the thyme for use in a French recipe, just hang it upside down for a couple of days and wait until the leaves go crispy. If you want to use it fresh in your French cooking recipes, do not use the stems because they are woody. Use the leaves only. You can either drag the plant through the tines of a fork to remove the leaves, or just pull them off.</p>
<p>You can integrate the unique flavor of thyme in your French cooking recipes in many ways. Thyme is also very good with mushroom stroganoff because the earthy flavor of the thyme matches the earthy mushroom flavor. Adding thyme to a mushroom stroganoff gives amazing results. If you are making a special dish like this, what better than to look through some French dessert recipes and pick something light, like choux a la crme or crme caramel?</p>
<p>Thyme also suits most dishes that call for mustard. Honey mustard chicken can be too sweet for many people but adding some thyme makes the flavor rounder and much better.</p>
<p>If you make your salad dressings, particularly if you enjoy vinaigrettes of any flavor, thyme can be used to add some spice and texture to it. If you are planning a light lunch or appetizers, consider the fact that thyme goes quite well with a variety of soft, pale cheeses. The sweetness of the cheese will really bring out the sharp taste of the thyme, and you can combine them to taste.</p>
<p>As you can see, there is practically no limit to the ways that you can use thyme in your cooking. Spend some time with this essential herb and soon you will never know how you did without it!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In the United States obesity is reaching epidemic levels. More and more people are turning to weight loss pills in hopes of shedding those unsightly pounds.  With the New Year right around the corner, stores will have their shelves well stocked with weight loss pills in anticipation of the after holiday rush. But do weight loss pills really work?</p>
<p>Weight loss pills do work, but not to the degree most people think.  Back in the early 1990&#8242;s when ephedra was first introduced, it was touted as a miracle weight loss supplement and to some, including myself  it was.  When you combined ephedra with caffeine and aspirin, this &#8220;stack&#8221; burned fat like butter on a hot stove.<span id="more-100"></span></p>
<p>Unfortunately along with its fat burning power, there was a long list of side effects as well. Many could not handle the powerful stimulant affects of this compound and it was blamed for many deaths.  Whether or not this was true, the writing was on the wall and ephedra was banned in the United States and is no longer available.</p>
<p>Are there any compounds that work as well as ephedra?</p>
<p>Yes, but ephedra set the bar very high and there really isn&#8217;t anything new (save for possibly one) that matches its fat burning power.</p>
<p>Green tea and Hoodia are currently two of the most popular weight loss supplements in stores today.  There have been mixed reviews on both, but Green tea has more scientific studies to back its claims.  Never the less, they both fall far short of the fat burning power of ephedra.</p>
<p>There is however one promising compound that seems to block fructose from converting to adipose tissue.</p>
<p>Why the concern about fructose?</p>
<p>Fructose may be the reason why so many Americans are obese today.  The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition was quoted as saying:</p>
<p>&#8220;evidence that a marked increase in the use of HFCS, and therefore in total fructose consumption, preceded the obesity epidemic and may be an important contributor to this epidemic in the United States.&#8221;</p>
<p>Over the last thirty years, there has been a 40% drop in the use of cane sugar and a 300% increase in the use of high fructose corn syrups!  If you look at the label of most products on supermarket shelves today, you will likely find high fructose corn syrup as an ingredient.</p>
<p>What is this new natural substance?</p>
<p>This all natural compound is derived from the roots of Scutellaria baicalensis and Heartwood of Acacia.  There more common names are Chinese skullcap and &#8220;Black catechu&#8221;.</p>
<p>What does this compound do?</p>
<p>There are two obesity markers in the blood stream that this natural compound substantially decreases.  Chronically obese people have high levels of these two markers. These natural compounds inhibit fat conversion via fructose pathways by down-regulating fat accumulation and up-regulating fat breakdown, thereby decreasing these two obesity markers.</p>
<p>Subjects between the ages of 40 and 75 participated in an independent double blind scientific study conducted by scientists at JSS Medical Research, Inc., in Montreal, Canada.  None of the participants were given any advice on dieting or exercise and typically this age group has the most difficult time at losing weight.</p>
<p>The results of the study were eye opening.  Those that were not given the compound averaged zero pounds of weight loss, while those given the natural compound lost on average 7% of their body weight.</p>
<p>Their results would likely have been much better if they combined an exercise program along with a sensible diet.</p>
<p>These compounds show a lot of promise and may very well hold the key to the obesity epidemic, especially for those who consume a lot of fructose in their diets.  Always check with your physician before taking any weight loss supplement.</p>

<p>Documented for over two thousand years, the name Kombucha originates in Korea.  A medicine man named Kombu treated the emperor with what is known know as Kombucha tea.   Over the centuries this elixir of life has spread worldwide. <span id="more-72"></span></p>
